Gandhadagudi:According to Prime Video, Puneeth Rajkumar will appear in the documentary film GG: Gandhadagudi – Journey of A Real Hero, which will premiere on Friday to commemorate the late Kannada actor’s 48th birthday.

On Tuesday, Prime Video revealed that the documentary film GG: Gandhadagudi – Journey of A Real Hero, starring Puneeth Rajkumar, will debut on Friday on the 48th anniversary of the late Kannada actor’s birth.
Amoghavarsha, a renowned wildlife photographer and filmmaker, wrote and directed the movie. It is made by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar in collaboration with Mudskipper under the auspices of PRK Productions. The soundtrack for the documentary, advertised as an epic musical celebration of Karnataka, was written by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
In the documentary, Puneeth Rajkumar and Amoghavarsha embark on a journey into India’s countryside in order to document the diverse fauna, breathtaking scenery, water features, and untold stories.
Seven distinct worlds will be shown to the audience, ranging from dense rainforests to rocky scrublands and from mountains to oceans. It’s an unforgettable adventure through India’s unexplored terrain.

The documentary will also provide details on Puneeth Rajkumar’s unique family history and about his father, the renowned actor Dr. Rajkumar.
Puneeth Rajkumar, regarded as the king of Kannada film, passed away in October 2021 after suffering a heart arrest.
Gandhadagudi, according to his wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, was the Kannada actor’s ideal undertaking.
