How to apply for India Post office Recruitment
REGISTRATION
(a) In order to receive the Registration Number, the applicant must first register on the GDS online Engagement Portal at the address www.indiapostqdsonline.in.
(b) In order to register on the Portal, applicants need to have their
own active cellphone and email addresses. Everything crucial, such as the declaration of the shortlisting results and the tentative engagement offer, will be delivered to the registered cellphone number.

Division selection and preference expression
A candidate may only submit one or more applications for the one or more open GDS positions in the chosen Division. Prior to deciding on a division
Option, the applicant must verify their information by providing their registration number and the OTP that was given to their registered cellphone number. After choosing the Division, a list of all positions that are eligible (based on community and age) will be shown, and applicants must indicate their preferences for each position. The applicant will not be given consideration for a position for which he or she has not expressed a preference (S). However, if chosen for further consideration, just one position will be made available for engagement, and hisMer rights to all other positions will be lost.

Criteria for Selection
(i) A system-generated merit list will be used to select the candidates for employment.
(ii) The Secondary School Examination of the Tenth Standard of Approved Boards, aggregated to % with an accuracy of Four Decimals, will serve as the foundation for preparing the Merit list. This conversion of Grades/Points to Marks is discussed in Subparagraphs (iii) to (ix) below.

(iii) For candidates whose Secondary School Examination of 10th Standard mark sheet contains both grades and points and marks, only their total marks will be calculated by factoring in the grades earned in all required and optional courses (apart from any additional subjects, if any).
